Festiwal psiego mięsa - głos w sprawie zabrała polska modelka

Już od ośmiu lat w chińskim mieście Yulin organizowany jest festiwal psiego mięsa. W tym roku podobnie jak w latach ubiegłych "święto" rozpocznie się 21 czerwca i potrwa do końca miesiąca. W czasie wydarzenia zabijanych jest od 10 do 15 tysięcy psów, które następnie lądują na talerzach. Jak łatwo się domyślić takie ucztowanie wzbudza wiele kontrowersji. Również w Yulin nie wszyscy mieszkańcy są pozytywnie nastawieni do tego obyczaju.

O tym, że Joanna Krupa jest wielką miłośniczką wszelkich zwierząt, a w szczególności psów, wiadomo od dawna. Stąd też w dniu rozpoczęcia festiwalu psiego mięsa polska modelka umieściła w mediach społecznościowych dramatyczny apel o pomoc w uwalnianiu przeznaczonych na rzeź zwierząt.

These dogs were being clubbed in the face, and skinned alive right in front us. . In the end we made the decision to save them. To spare the surviving, the fate of having to die from torture. . The transport just arrived at our shelter in Changsha. These dogs are in critical condition, and need support in order to stay alive.
